This spring and summer, children with their families will join Miss Judy for a fun Saturday morning of learning something new about the great outdoors. The program format is an introduction about the day's topic followed by a hands-on outdoor activity to try out what you learned. Dress for the weather with appropriate shoes or boots. Each month, we will be exploring different locations as we discover the many animals and plants that make up Winding Trails' fields, forests, and waterbodies. Look and listen for wood frogs in the vernal pools. Learn about wildflowers and the animals that visit them. Discover the birds that nest and raise their young here. Wander through the forest to roll a log and see who lives there. Explore the pond searching for turtles, fish, and other creatures. Registration is required by 3 days before the date of the event.
