Adult Luncheon: Unionville Dam HistoryWinding Trails is at the midpoint of the 1828-1847 transportation canal which brought about the rapid industrialization that formed Unionville in 1834. Its dam provided the economic incentive to build 3 power dams upstream on the Farmington River. Come and enjoy a late spring luncheon and learn the history of these dames, including an artifact uncovered in 2019. Our guest speaker will be long time Winding Trails member, Alan Perrie. We will have a cookout at the pavilion and social distancing will be in place. Registration is required by Friday, September 25th. Fees
