50 Winding Trails Drive, Farmington, CT
Set among the beautiful 380 acres of forest and fall foliage at Winding Trails in Farmington, there will be music on three stages, as well as a song contest, two workshops, and free beer from local breweries. The festival features chart-topping performers, official state troubadours, and award-winning songwriters from a variety of musical genres. Performances take place in the forest amphitheater, post and beam lodge, and pondside. Outdoor stages move indoors in the event of rain.
Attendees can also drop-in to the Vocal Coaching Workshop with Nashville recording artist Kaye Pere, and the Craft and Business of Songwriting Workshop with Grammy award-winning songwriter Bill Pere. Songwriters are also invited to sign-up for the judged Song Contest with prizes offered by the Connecticut Songwriters Association and Connecticut Songwriting Academy. Space is limited and preregistration is required for the Song Contest.
Free samples from four local breweries. Food and additional refreshments are available for sale or attendees may BYOB and picnic. Take advantage of the scenic grounds at Winding Trails, with 12 miles of walking trails and disc golf. Parking is free.

Come and perform your original songs for a chance to win a featured performance slot at the Connecticut Songwriters Association, a music business and career consultation, and more. Space is limited so sign up early. The $10 registration fee for the contest includes a ticket to the Acoustic Festival. The Craft & Business of Songwriting with Grammy Award winning Songwriter Bill Pere. Come and learn the craft and business of songwriting with Grammy-Winning songwriter Bill Pere. Vocal Coaching Workshop with Nashville recording artist Kay Pere. Come and learn some career changing vocal tips with Nashville recording artist, award-winning singer-songwriter, and a nationally known vocal and creativity coach Kay Pere. Kay has been a Director for the Connecticut Songwriters Association since 1997, and she presents regularly at national music conferences.
