Members will be given a two-week priority for program registration. However, some programs may be opened to non-members at a higher fee to support the class. Please contact the main office to see if a specific program will be available to non-members.

Please Note: If you require a reasonable modification to rules, policies or practices, the removal of architectural, communication or transportation barriers, or the provision of auxiliary aides and services to participate, you should forward your request for such accommodations to Winding Trails along with any special needs that you would like to discuss. REMINDERS

Office Hours/Drop Box

The Main office is open 8:30am–4:00pm, Monday through Friday. If you miss the official office hours, you can always use the convenient Drop Box slot at the office door, after 4:00pm or on weekends.

Holiday Hours

The Main Office will be closed on Monday, December 25th, for the Christmas Holiday and Monday, January 1st, for New Year’s Holiday. In the event we have snow, the Cross Country Ski Center will be open except for Christmas Day.

Membership Renewal – Don’t Forget

By now you should have received your renewal application for 2007 membership. If you have not received your renewal, please contact the office as soon as possible so one can be mailed to you. Your 2006 membership expires on December 31, 2006. As our wait list is extensive (800+), we will only be able to guarantee your membership spot until January 1st. After this date, unfilled membership spots will be offered to those on the wait list. Members received a copy of the Winding Trails, Inc. Handbook last year that included regulations and policies of the organization. Only new members will receive a copy in the future, so we hope that you all kept your copy handy. Your membership is based on your acceptance of these policies. Please adhere your 2007 stickers to the appropriate vehicle windshield upon receipt so they don’t get lost. There is a $25 processing fee for lost stickers. Remove any old stickers from vehicles that are sold or the windshield replaced and return them to the office to avoid the replacement sticker fee.

Annual Meeting

Winding Trails Recreation Association will hold its Annual Meeting on Thursday, January 18th, 2007 at 7:00pm in the Lodge. This meeting is open to the general membership. When the Ski Center is open the retail shop will be open 7 days a week. Shop hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:30pm. If there is no snow, call ahead at 674-4227 and a staff member will be happy to show you our selection of ski equipment. Think snow!

Winding Trails Summer Tri Series 2006 – by Sharon McHale

Let me start by saying Thank You! Without all of you this series would not be the success that it is. It was very exciting to watch all the “newbies” compete in & complete their very first triathlon. We also got to enjoy watching the “age groupers” try to move up in the standings each week. And, how can we forget watching the “elite” try to maintain, fight for or race hard to break the course record every Tuesday night?
Congratulations to all – becoming a triathlete is a huge goal in itself!
